Where does this service work?

This service has limited mobility. Once the device is activated, your home location will be assigned as the first usage location and will only work there. If you decide to move or shift locations, you will have to ask us to unlock it so your Home Wireless can be reassigned to your new location.

 

What kind of router do I get with this plan?

  • 5 G-enabled router with Home Wireless Plus and Home Wireless Entertainment plans.
  • Gaming-enhanced 5G router with Home Wireless Gaming plan.

What happens if I don’t have 5G?

It will automatically connect to 4 G.

Is a Landline required for a home wireless connection?

No, it’s not.

 

How does this service work?

As a new Home Wireless customer, you’ll receive a router for internet connection at the time of your service application. It will include a Data SIM with unlimited data.

  • Near a power outlet

Will I be able to bring my router?

Yes, you have the option to use your router.

In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:

  • Near a power outlet

Will I be able to bring my router?

Yes, you have the option to use your router.

Are there any activation fees or deposits?

In addition to your monthly payments, one-time charges will apply to activate your service:

  • AED 200 (+5% VAT) as an activation fee. (waived off for new customers).
  • AED 150 per HDTV receiver deposit (refundable when you return your TV receiver to us)

What will it cost to change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time for no extra cost. To downgrade your plan, however, the following early termination fees will apply:

For 24 months contract:

  • An amount equal to the difference between the monthly charges of your existing and new plan

OR

  • If the existing plan’s monthly charges are more than AED 1000, then an amount equal to the difference between AED 1,000 and the new monthly charge
  • Device cost(s): Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

Note: Your contract will restart from the date of the plan change.

If I need to cancel my contract early, which fees will I incur?

For 24 months contract: In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:

  • A one-month MRC (a maximum of AED 1,000)
  • Devices cost: Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

For no contract option: All the plans come with a 1-month contract.

  • You can cancel your contract anytime and will only have to pay 1 month MRC in full if cancel within the bill cycle.

  • Bill Cycle 7 (7th to 6th of the month) (E.g. Your bill generated on 7 April 2022 will be for 7 March to 6 April 2025)

You can exit your service contract within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of activation without any exit charges if the service was mis-sold or if du did not comply with the service terms and conditions.

What is my credit limit?

Once you subscribe to any of our Fixed services, a credit limit will apply to your account.

A credit limit allows you to control the monthly spend for your Fixed services.

You’ll enjoy free local calls to landline numbers with up to 2,000 minutes per month. Calls above the limit may be charged at standard rates. All calls are charged at a rate depending on the destination being called and the time the call was made. There are three time periods:
• Peak: Saturday to Thursday, 9 am – 9 pm
• Low rate: Friday, 9 am – 9 pm

What will it cost to change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time for no extra cost. To downgrade your plan, however, the following early termination fees will apply:

For 24 months contract:

  • An amount equal to the difference between the monthly charges of your existing and new plan

OR

  • If the existing plan’s monthly charges are more than AED 1000, then an amount equal to the difference between AED 1,000 and the new monthly charge
  • Device cost(s): Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

Note: Your contract will restart from the date of the plan change.

If I need to cancel my contract early, which fees will I incur?

For 24 months contract: In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:

  • A one-month MRC (a maximum of AED 1,000)
  • Devices cost: Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

For no contract option: All the plans come with a 1-month contract.

  • You can cancel your contract anytime and will only have to pay 1 month MRC in full if cancel within the bill cycle.

We dispatch your bill based on 3 billing cycles:

  • Bill Cycle 1 (first to last day of the month) (E.g. Your bill generated on 1 April 2022 will be for 1 March to 30 March 2022)
  • Bill Cycle 7 (7th to 6th of the month) (E.g. Your bill generated on 7 April 2022 will be for 7 March to 6 April 2022)
  • Bill Cycle 17 (17th of the month) (E.g. Your bill generated on 17 April 2022, will be for 17 March to 16 April 2022)

Will I be charged if I deactivate during the contract period?

For plans with a 24-month contract:

In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:

  • A one-month MRC (a maximum of AED 1,000)
  • Device cost: Device cost/contract period*(contract period – (1 + number of months you spent in the contract)

You can exit your service contract within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of activation without any exit charges if the service was mis-sold or if du did not comply with the service terms and conditions.

 

What is my credit limit?

Once you subscribe to any of our Fixed services, a credit limit will apply to your account.

A credit limit allows you to control the monthly spend for your Fixed services.

You’ll enjoy free local calls to landline numbers with up to 2,000 minutes per month. Calls above the limit may be charged at standard rates. All calls are charged at a rate depending on the destination being called and the time the call was made. There are three time periods:

What will it cost to change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time for no extra cost. To downgrade your plan, however, the following early termination fees will apply:

For 24 months contract:

  • An amount equal to the difference between the monthly charges of your existing and new plan

OR

  • If the existing plan’s monthly charges are more than AED 1000, then an amount equal to the difference between AED 1,000 and the new monthly charge
  • Device cost(s): Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

Note: Your contract will restart from the date of the plan change.

If I need to cancel my contract early, which fees will I incur?

For 24 months contract: In case you decide to terminate your contract before the end of your contract duration, you will be charged:

Are there any activation fees or deposits?

In addition to your monthly payments, one-time charges will apply to activate your service:

What will it cost to change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time for no extra cost. To downgrade your plan, however, the following early termination fees will apply:

For 24 months contract:

  • An amount equal to the difference between the monthly charges of your existing and new plan

OR

  • If the existing plan’s monthly charges are more than AED 1000, then an amount equal to the difference between AED 1,000 and the new monthly charge
  • Device cost(s): Device cost/contract period * (contract period – (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

Note: Your contract will restart from the date of the plan change.

If I need to cancel my contract early, which fees will I incur?

Where are du Home Light plans available?

Will I be charged for my landline calls?

You’ll enjoy free local calls to landline numbers with up to 2,000 minutes per month. Calls above the limit may be charged at standard rates. All calls are charged at a rate depending on the destination being called and the time the call was made. There are three time periods:
